Mustafa Tan, Ph.D.
Founding Partner – Sworn-in Certified Public Accountant – Independent Auditor
Ph.D. Mustafa Tan graduated from Istanbul University, Faculty of Political Sciences, Department of Finance, and completed his master’s and doctoral degrees in Fiscal Law at Marmara University.
He began his professional career in 2000 at the Ministry of Treasury and Finance, where he served as a Revenue Controller, conducting tax audits for both domestic and foreign-owned companies. In 2012, he resigned from his position as Chief Tax Inspector and joined the international tax and audit firm Forvis Mazars as a partner.
During his tenure at Forvis Mazars, Ph.D. Tan served as Head of Tax Services from 2017 to 2025, advising a wide range of clients on complex tax and regulatory matters.
In 2025, Ph.D. Tan founded Tan Denetim Yeminli Mali Musavirlik A.S. where he continues to provide his clients with strategic insight and professional expertise, delivering services in line with the highest standards of quality and integrity.
